Description Teunis Peters 2015-07-24 06:10:44 UTC
I was reporting a bug on power resume on plasma5 (which turns out to be fixed in 5.4.2, but still present in 5.2.2 which is what ubuntu 15.04 uses) - and the debug dialog reached the [report in] - however the login button was greyed out even after I entered account details.

also, when it offered to save it said "unknown protocol file://". Might or might not be related.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. enter a bug
2. Reach the interface to report
3. Attempt to login.

Actual Results:
Cannot continue

Expected Results:
Bug is either reported or other solutions are offered.

Fairly recent install of Ubuntu 15.04. I'm running AMD graphics (Radeon HD 7310) - and have known a lot of glitchiness involving either that or the slightly weird lenovo laptop hardware.
Not related to this, I don't think though.

kde 5.2.2 (or plasma shell version 5.2.2 at least) - plasma crashed triggering bug dialog
Comment 2 Teunis Peters 2015-07-24 06:15:09 UTC
after running kdebugclient to reproduce, it's not that component. I'm not aware of how plasma reports bugs then.

Can reproduce this (sometimes) on fedora 23.

rpm -q plasma-workspace
plasma-workspace-5.5.0-2.fc23.x86_64
plasma-workspace-5.5.0-4.fc23.x86_64

I saved my credentials in kwallet and they seem to be loaded, because my login is displayed and I can see dots in password field. I also can login into wifi with another stored passphrase, but I was asked to type in my passphrase for wifi before and had to manually connect to wifi before it worked...

duplicate of #354292
Comment 7 Paschalis Veskos 2016-04-13 12:10:47 UTC
Can confirm this (every time) on opensuse 42.1, plasma 5.6.2
Comment 8 Harald Sitter 2019-07-03 12:28:11 UTC
5.17 onwards has much better and more reliable backend interaction with bugzilla.
