When I open krita, I can only move the cursor (using the stylus) over a subset of the screen. Meaning I can access the right 1/5 and the bottom 1/4 of the screen. Also, when I bring up the color wheel popup, my cursor is offset about 3-4 inches to the south east. Finally, I need to continually re-click my krita application profile in the tablet properties dialog. I have an Intuos2 tablet, running Win 8.1 and krita 2.9.6. I had problems getting the Intuos running on win8.1, but finally used driver version 6.20w5. The table works fine in PS and Lightroom. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open kirta 2. Try to move cursor using stylus to bottom or right side of screen. Can't do this. 3. Open color wheel popup, and see the offset cursor. Actual Results: I can't get to the side and bottom of the screen. Also, the cursor in the popup is offset. Finally, my profile in the tablet properties dialog keeps getting reset to 'All other' application. Expected Results: Should be able to set profile once, access anywhere on screen with stylus, and have no cursor offset.
Hi, Thanks for your report. This is going to be hard-ish to debug since none of us has access to an Intuos 2. Do you have any form of desktop resolution scaling on in Windows? Here's a howto for generating more information about the tablet issues: http://nonaynever.ru/kwiki/krita/BugWritingGuidelines#Tablet-related_Bug
Oh, and is the intuos 2 still a serial tablet?
Created attachment 93979 [details] Wacom Settings
Created attachment 93980 [details] Debug log for not being able to move cursor across entire screen I set my Wacom profile to Krita, turned on logging, scribbled my stylus in the middle of the screen then moved as right and down as possible. Cursor could only go about 4/5 to the right and about 3/4 to the bottom of screen.
Created attachment 93981 [details] Popup debug log I pressed the stylus button to bring up the popup, which it did, but the cursor was offset as described in the original case
I have 100% scaling on. The Intuos2 is USB. Thanks for your help! Please let me know if I can provide any more details. Darren
Thanks, this is the information we need. If we need more info, we'll get back to you!
Can you try Krita 3.0 and if it still happens the trick mentioned here: https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ#How_to_fix_a_tablet_offset_on_multiple_screen_setup_on_Windows
Hi darrenfrenette Can you please check if this issue is still reproducible in the latest version of Krita. For now I am closing this bug report. If you are still facing this issue, please feel free to re-open the issue thank you
