This one looks more like some inconsistency from user side. Word allows to type in text to read-only document, but doesn't allow to save it or copy-paste into it. Also there is no warnings or messages about write protection except window title, that also has strange behaviour: 1. After load of readonly document -- it says "(write protected)" 2. After typing some text -- it says "[modified]". I may notice that at this point user has no clue that document is read-only. 3. After selecting "save as" from menu -- it says "(write protected)[modified]". Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create some document. Close it and make a file read-only. 2. Open it. Type something, try to copy-paste. Look sometimes to title. 3. Try to save. Check there is no messages about "read-only". Actual Results: See "Details" section. Expected Results: I were really expecting Words will say on load of document to me: "This is readonly doc, so textediting is blocked". And textediting will be really blocked.
