I am using 32 bit Ubuntu 14.04 (Linux 3.16.0-43-generic #58~14.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Mon Jun 22 10:21:00 UTC 2015 i686 i686 i686 GNU/Linux) and have the terminal "Reset and Clear" keyboard shortcut bound to Ctrl+Shift+X however it does nothing when focused on the yakuake window. I bound the key by modifying Edit -> Keyboard Shortcuts within gnome-terminal (I am using gnome classic compiz) and the shortcut works properly in gnome-terminal but not in yakuake. This happens every single time, and I have tried removing the shortcut and adding it back with no success. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open gnome-terminal, open Edit -> Keyboard shortcuts 2. Bind the "Reset and Clear" keyboard shortcut to Ctrl+Shit+X 3. Open yakuake, press Ctrl+Shift+X Actual Results: Nothing happens Expected Results: The terminal should reset and clear
Apparently my previous search was not thorough enough, it looks like this is very likely a duplicate of konsole bug 309008
