The application window opens and then, just as quickly, shuts down. Here is the error I get: "Executable: simon PID: 6836 Signal: Segmentation fault (11) " Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open the app 2. 3. Actual Results: The app opened to a window which, a couple of seconds later, closed. Expected Results: It should have run! My computer runs on ubuntu-15.04
Please install debug symbols (there should be a package for this) and post a stack trace of what's happening (when Simon crashes there will be a crash dialog with more information that you can copy and paste here). Thanks.

I'm sorry, I don't use Ubuntu, I wouldn't know. Maybe you even already have the debug symbols installed. When Simon goes down, do you see a debug dialog ("Dr Konqi")? Does this provide an option to view additional information?
Created attachment 93492 [details] Screenshot from 2015-07-06 15:20:57.png The images attached are of the window that appears when simon crashes. I hit next in the first window. A backtrace is then generated and I'm asked to download the debug symbols. But the download fails. Created attachment 93495 [details] attachment-31436-0.html Oh and I found a package on the internet. It's a version 0.3.0 simon debug symbols package. However the simon app I have installed is the 0.4.1 version. You need the debug symbols that match your installed Simon version. Please contact the Ubuntu team for the appropriate package. Thanks.
