Description Laptander 2015-07-05 01:11:55 UTC
When you want to edit image from project tree with gimp and image's file name contains question symbol "?", than gimp fails to open it.

Steps to reproduse:
1) Add some image to your project. File name should contain "?". For example, name it "my?.jpg"
2) Right click on that image in project tree and select "Edit clip"
3) Gimp will open and error message will appear: Opening '/home/user/path_to _image/my' failed: No such file or directory

Cannot reproduce. Make sure that in "Configure Kdenlive", section "Environment" the image editing application is correctly set, and that your distribution has provided a correctly working wrapping script, if it does so. With recent Kdenlive beta 16.09.30 Gimp opens correctly the image clip from the project bin.

Yes, now it is fixed (16.04.3).
