Version 0.9.10 Development Platform 4.14.6 Ubuntu 14.04, 14.10, 15.10 It happens every time. 3 Video tracks all stacked in the same time points. Video 3 has a clip (static image with white background) with Affine transition (all along the clip). Video 2 has a clip (static image with black text and transparency for the rest) with Dissolve transition (all along the clip). Video 1 is empty. I add a new clip (static image with black text with transparency background) in Video 1. If NO transition, everything works fine. If I add a transition (for example addition) and the cursor is AWAY of the transition, everything works. If you click with the mouse on that clip in a zone where the transition is not applied, everything works. But as soon as you click on that clip where the transition is there, the program crashes. If you try to follow the Report Bug dialogue it says: Executable: kdenlive PID:2059 Signal: Segmentation fault (11) Hope that helps, and great job with the tool. Regards, Hipo Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add png with white background in Video 3 2. Set a transition of Affine all along the clip of Video 3 3. Add png with black text AND transparency in the background in the same time points in Video 2 4. Set a transition of Dissolve all along the clip Video 2 5. Add png with blac text AND transparency in the background in the same time points in Video 1 6. Set a transition of addition in half the length of the clip. 7. Click on Video 1 clip where the transition exists Actual Results: Crash Expected Results: Not crash I've had older versions of Kdenlive and KDE and then I updated to the latest.... it crashes no matter what.
Hello, After trying several times (and forgetting a bit ;-) ) I've never been able to reproduce this bug... Could you send a crash backtrace? (install gdb and then run "gdb kdenlive", then after the crash "bt full" and send the result) Thanks, Vincent
Have you experienced this issue again with newer versions of Kdenlive? If yes, we'd need a backtrace as mentioned in comment 1. Thanks for reporting!
Hi, I haven't seen it in a while and being this old, it's likely that you guys have fixed it somehow. You could mark it as FIXED and if I see it again I'll post in the bug again. Thanks for looking into this! Regards, Hipo
