In more or less regular intervals (every 1-2 hours) a dialog with the title "Password - Plasma Desktop Shell" pops up asking for "Enter an[sic!] username and a pssword to complete the task". Cancelling or enter the credentials does not yield and particular result, nothing happens in both cases. Investigative steps: - xkilling the dialog kills plasma-desktop - Googling reveals that this error message with the typo "an" occurs only somewhere in KCupsPasswordDialog.cpp which is why I ended up in print-manager project. - Stopping CUPS does not stop the dialog from appearing. - I could not discover which process opens the dialog and why. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: no specific steps required Expected Results: The dialog is very annoying and serves no apparent purpose. I do not want it to pop up all the time. Ubuntu 14.04.2, KDE 4.13.3

Is there anything I can do to help the solution to this problem? It seems like the dialog pops up almost exactly every hour (feels like 59mins or so). Really very annoying...
We believe this is fixed in a later version of Plasma5 and the recently released Plasma6. Can you retest this and report back?
