Using the option "Restore previous session", any terminal windows open at logout are not restored after the next login. Other applications (specifically, Dolphin and Konqueror) are restored as expected. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open one or more terminal windows on any virtual desktop. 2. Logout 3. Login. Actual Results: No terminal windows are visible. Expected Results: The windows should have been restored to the condition at logout.
I've found that sometimes it *does* restore konsoles, but seemingly at random.
What I don't understand is how setting "restore manually saved session" will result in all applications being restored on login but "restore previous session" routinely fails to restore several that I had open. I would have thought that the same procedure to save the session would have been activated in both cases but just saving to different locations.
