Actual version of Words is 2.9.4. A document I created in LibreOffice Writer, which I will attach, has multiple display issues in Calligra Words that are immediately noticable. The first is that new lines inserted as part of the same paragraph do not display, instead putting all the text in the paragraph in the same line. The second is that the content is displayed on a second page, with the first page being blank. The third is that the page with contents is duplicated on a third page, and attempting to edit the contents on the second page instead edits the contents of the third page and updates the second page with the new content.
