Description 4lph4dr4g0nl1ch 2015-06-14 18:42:04 UTC
When using other software to stream, the canvas on Krita is no longer visible. Everything else seems to be in working order, but the canvas shows up grey like the program theme or just white.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Krita
2.Open Krita document
3.Open Mishira or another stream/recording program like it
4.Add a scene layer
5.Double click the new layer; may be called "Unnamed"
6.Click the dropdown menu under "Capture settings" and select "[krita.exe] Krita"
7.Click "Add window to list
8.Click "apply" then OK
9.Krita's canvas should show up white or as the theme color

Actual Results:
My problem persists. The canvas does not appear as it should.

Expected Results:
The canvas should be visible. The canvas looks like a single color block among a light grey background.

I think it's worth noting that this happens with any stream software I try.

Hello 4lph4dr4g0nl1ch@gmail.com ,

Usually I record my screen Desktop on Windows 7 (64 bit), while working with Krita, with Camstudio or BB FlashBack (the free version). Everything has always worked out fine for me so far ) :-)

This being said, I have tried myself to record my Desktop with OBS (Open broadcaster software: https://obsproject.com/): 0.651beta version.
At present, I run Krita 2.9.5 (.msi installer).

Everything works fine for me:
- tried the differents OBS modes (Window capture, Monitor capture, Game capture).
With the "Game capture" mode OBS is sometimes a bit "finicky" (in that, it doesn't always work fine)...

Here you can take a look at my screenshot (while working fine with the Game Capture mode):

Thank you Silvio and 4lph4dr4g0nl1ch!

It seems like the problem is in Mishira application. Probably it injects into our openGL pipeline somehow. If the problem is seen in some other software as well, please reopen this bug :)

It's not in Mishira. It's in Krita. Because all programs have started doing it again.

I'm having this issue as well. Seems the only way I can stream is by having it set to monitor mode, and that's with OBC
