Description mgolden 2015-06-14 03:43:38 UTC
When I cd to a directory in which I have just downloaded some images, and from the command prompt I type "gwenview .", I get a popup that says

Internal Error
Please send a full bug report at http://bugs.kde.org
No such object path '/modules/kdeconnect/devices/1298df5cfb8f5bf8/sftp'

If I close the popup, everything proceeds normally.

Reproducible: Always
Comment 1 Alexander Fieroch 2015-11-06 16:44:01 UTC
I have the same problem with a different device ID (for my smartphone).
The error dialog pops up every time I open gwenview in the view-mode. The browse-mode does not show any error dialog. After closing the dialog I can switch to the next image without getting an error dialog. But after restarting gwenview the error dialog pops up again.

Kubuntu 15.10
kdeconnect 0.8
gwenview 15.08
Comment 2 Alexander Fieroch 2015-11-30 20:59:24 UTC
deleting the configuration file ~/.config/gwenviewrc is working for me. After analyzing the content I realized that deleting the following three lines is also working for me:

[General]
SideBarPage=folders
UrlNavigatorIsEditable=true
Comment 3 Alexander Fieroch 2015-11-30 21:11:35 UTC
Ah sorry, that was not the problem! After selecting the sidebar "folders" the error message appeared again. I noticed that there was a bookmark to my smartphone in the folders pane which was not working. I could delete it in dolphin and now the problem in gwenview is solved.
Comment 4 JHF2442 2016-02-13 16:55:49 UTC
Same issue here and same fix : remove shortcut to old mobile phone in folders pane (see comment 3)

When I open Discover, it opens normally but then closes abruptly.
