Description Greg Lepore 2015-06-10 12:25:39 UTC
I configured web shortcuts in Konsole via right-click -> Search for xxx -> configure web shortcuts. However, changes were not reflected in System Settings -> shortcuts -> web shortcuts. This may have to do with a larger problem on my system where certain settings in System Settings (file associations, for example) appear to have no effect on the system.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. change web shortcuts in Konsole
2. Launch system settings -> Shortcuts
3. Changes aren't there

Actual Results:
Changes aren't propagated to system settings when set via Konsole

Expected Results:
Settings in System settings should reflect changes made in Konsole

Can you include the version number of Konsole.

Just upgraded to Kubuntu Wily Beta 1, with plasma 5.4.0 and QT 5.4.2 and the problem appears to be fixed.

Re-opening this bug as it has reappeared. Attached is a screenshot with "Configure Web Shortcuts" open twice, once from Konsole and once via Yakuake (which uses Konsole, I believe). As you can see, each application appears to be opening a different "Configure Web Shortcuts" kcm module. Konsole version is:
Qt: 5.5.1
KDE Frameworks: 5.21.0
Konsole: 15.12.3

This doesn't seem to be an issue anymore as it is no longer possible to open the same KCM multiple times like that.
