While color picking by holding color picker changes the cursor to the initial tool i.e. brush or gradient tool for a split second. This distracts a bit while painting. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open krita and select brush tool
2.while pressing and holding ctrl click at various places
3.You can notice the cursor changes when you release the mouse or pen click

Actual Results:  
cursor changes for a moment

Expected Results:  
cursor should be stable

below is the discussion in the IRC about this issue and smjert told about the issue 

" [14:59:10] <Smjert> Animtim, raghukamath: well simply the color picking is treated as a shortcut which has a different handling code than using the normal tool, so when the button is release (and here it's is the mouse release that is registered) it ends the shortcut.. and KisToolPaint::deactivateAlternateAction gets called
