I'm not sure this is a KWallet bug or a Fedora bug or bugs in the individual applications. When I installed my system (newest Fedora 22 KDE), I removed the default 'kdewallet' wallet and created a new one. However, everytime I add a new mail account in KMail or open Chrome, it prompts for the password of the 'kdewallet' wallet, which does not exist. Some things that might be interesting: - There seem to be multiple wallet systems installed; when I search wallet in the menu, I get one hit for 'KDE Wallet' and two for 'KWalletManager'. Reproducible: Always
I get the same behaviour. In fact, no program uses any wallet I create, they always refer to the original one, which was deleted.
Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved.
I no longer use KDE, so I leave the confirmation to Steven Roose.
I am not the OP but I no longer have this issue.
