Description Martin Holsinger 2015-06-07 20:34:19 UTC
I'm using v.2.0.2. Maybe that's got something to do with it?
I had been using Bracero, but last week it wouldn't recognize when I had a CD for it to burn to. I was in a hurry, so rather than wrestle with Bracero, I downloaded K3b, which worked just fine. When I went to cut another CD today, again, on my way out the door to do a radio show, the basic program would recognize that I had a CD in the computer for it to burn to, but the burn box wouldn't acknowledge it. I tried restarting the computer with the CD in it--no luck.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.put blank CD in computer
2.main program recognizes it
3. click "burn" button--the burn window doesn't recognize it

Actual Results:
that's it

Expected Results:
the burn window should acknowledge the presence of a CD and burned the WAV files to it.

I tried uninstalling k3b and then re-installing it. No luck.

Same for me on Kubuntu 15.04 using K3B version 2.0.3 on KDE 4.14.8.

Medium is recognised and appropriate info given, reports medium is empty. Burn button in dialog is disabled.

Apologies, problem was that the size of the data was too large for the disc, reduced the data to be written to less than the size of the disc and the burn button became active.

Poor feedback IMO.
