Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Fedora 22 2. Connect 2 Monitors using docking station, enable both and disable the laptop screen 3. Detach the laptop so the only active screen is the laptop screen. 4. Connect the laptop back to the docking station and wait till the two connected displays are activated and laptop screen is turned off. 5. Thanks for the report Can you post the output of "xrandr -q" after step 2 and after step 4 so that we have a better idea about your setup?
When I detach the laptop from docking station, switching the display from two monitors to single laptop screen, maximized windows cover just half the screen. Even after Minimize and Maximize operation on the windows, maximum area covered by a window is half of the screen (check screenshot) http://s17.postimg.org/phpyrhpfz/KDE_plasma_4.png xrandr -q outputs: Normal Laptop Screen --> https://paste.fedoraproject.org/228423/33340631/ After Step 2 --> https://paste.fedoraproject.org/228424/33341271/ After Step 4 --> https://paste.fedoraproject.org/228425/33416514/
