Description Rajinder Yadav 2015-05-29 23:44:44 UTC
Unable to pick local image from my hard drive for desktop wallpaper background.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. On desktop, right-click and select 'desktop settings...'
2. Pick Image for 'Wallpaper type' and click open button
3. File dialog fails to show image files as well as other folders

Actual Results:
This bug always happens!

Expected Results:
Should show image files and subfolders to navigate into.

I recently upgraded my system from 14.10 to 15.04 .... as usual something always breaks!

Initally the update manager didn't really upgrade but about dialog said I had the new version!
Then I had to upgrade using the command line, 'sudo apt-get dist-upgrade', this is fact has some issues at the end and I was told to do a force install of items that failed to install at the end.

I rebooted and did the following things again
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Hello I posted this bug with Kubuntu as it also seems to be related to the distro upgrade I did recently. So please close it off.
