Description Marc Chamberlin 2015-05-26 02:21:36 UTC
I am trying to set up my laptop to present a slideshow using the secondary VGA port. This is connected to an older model InFocus projector that can only run 1024x768 or lower resolution. I cannot figure out any way to get this working without it crashing. I cannot even put the Advance Slideshow setup window onto the second display, to use the Start button, because the setup window will not allow me to resize it so that I can see the entire slideshow setup window. I tried to start the slideshow using Alt-t instead and it simply crashes.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Attach a projector running 1024x768 resolution, or lower, to a second VGA display port.
2. Configure desktop to extend onto second display, doesn't matter what position but don't overlay or clone the desktop onto the two displays. There is no way to run the slideshow in full screen mode if you do...
3. Try to start the Advance Slideshow in the second display. I have tried various methods but am unable to figure out how it can or should be done. All my efforts results in it crashing.

Actual Results:
Crash

Expected Results:
I expect to be able to run the slideshow in a second display.

I am no longer able to provide further info on this bug report as I no longer have access to the projector I was using when this problem occurred. Sorry..
