Description kelna91 2015-05-25 19:59:13 UTC
The applet shows wrong VPN server. It shows I'm connected to "uk" server, although I'm on "at". The network manager shows the right server, while the applet shows the server I was connected to before. This happened the first time to me, but after a disconnect-reconnect cycle it didn't fix itself.
See pic.

After waiting for a while and disconnecting-reconnecting again it's OK again.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect to server #1.
2. Disconnect.
3. Connect to server #2.

Actual Results:
It shows server #1.

Expected Results:
It should always show the actual server.

Kubuntu 15.04
Plasma 5.2.2

Is this reproducible every time? Could you please keep running this command: dbus-monitor --system "sender='org.freedesktop.NetworkManager'" and reproduce your issue (connect to server #1, disconnect, connect to server #2), then send me the output? Also output from "nmcli -f all connection show" after you connect to server #1 and server #2 could be useful.

Ping, any response?
Comment 3 kelna91 2015-09-23 20:58:05 UTC
Sorry, I couldn't reproduce it when I run the command.
Comment 4 Jan Grulich 2015-10-01 07:30:43 UTC
Were you able to reproduce it recently with latest version of NetworkManager and plasma-nm available in Kubuntu?
Comment 5 kelna91 2015-10-03 03:32:46 UTC
No, although I tried it many times. Either it was a one-time bug or had been fixed with another patch.
