Right-clicking on a bookmark from the bookmark bar in Chrome and selecting "Copy", results in: %00G%00a%00l%00l%00e%00r%00y%00 for a bookmark named "Gallery". This appears as a weird "binary" placeholder in Klipper. Works oddly and wrongly since KDE 4 did the right thing and copy-pasted the URL only. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Chrome 2. Right click on bookmark from bookmark bar 3. Select "Copy" and try to paste anywhere
It looks like another Chrome issue - there are unfortunately lots of issues with Chrome copying the wrong data. I did not completely understand one element: did this work in KDE4?
(In reply to Martin Gräßlin from comment #1) > I did not completely understand one element: did this work in KDE4? Works for me with Chromium 46.0.2490.86. $ plasma-desktop --version Qt: 4.8.6 Piattaforma di sviluppo KDE: 4.14.11 Shell del desktop di Plasma: 4.11.18
