Description alinoe 2015-05-23 20:01:30 UTC
hey,

just wanted to advert
that the support for wma audio seems not optimal

i have an old album I extracted about 12 years ago
it was on windows and it gave me some wma tracks

I can import the track, no problem
I can listen to it when imported

but when it's added to the timeline
there is no sound at all

and the when I render the video with this wma track
the rendering process goes as usual
but somehow stays stuck at the end and never finishes.

So I don't even know it if Kdenlive is supposed to support wma
and it's no big deal anyway
I 'll easillly find a workaround
but just wanted to tell you.

I'm very grateful fot this piece of software you're making.
Thank you.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.import a wma audio file
2.add it to the timeline
3.export in any format

Alinoe, can you please supply information about which version of Kdenlive you are using and from which repository/distribution you are installing. Also, is this bug still present on recent Kdenlive 16.04.2? If the bug's gone, please be so kind as to close this bug report as RESOLVED. Thank you very much for your cooperation!
