Description Alexander Potashev 2015-05-23 11:34:39 UTC
In KDevelop (KF5-based version, built from Git at 07:59:13 22.05.2015), if I assign F1 for action "Quick Open", pressing F1 reports conflicling shortcuts.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open "Settings -> Configure shortcuts..."
2. Search for "Quick Open" and change its shortcut to F1.
3. You will be asked if F1 should be reassigned from "KDevelop Handbook" to "Quick Open", confirm that dialog.
4. Close the shortcuts config dialog.

Actual Results:
When pressing F1, a message box opens saying that there is a conflict in keyboard shortcuts.

Expected Results:
F1 should trigger the Quick Open action because I already accepted that F1 is not a shortcut for the Handbook anymore.

The same procedure works correctly in Kate.

Yep. F1 is internally used by KF5 (KDE Frameworks libraries) and cannot be re-assigned at the moment. Sadly.

But I can reassign it in KWrite
