Description HE47HEN 2015-05-12 14:31:25 UTC
Using Ubuntu 15.04. I Have set the System Settings / Desktop Behavior / Activities / Privacy set to "Do not remember" and Kate is set to not remember recent files. Still the recent files appear in my Launcher. Happens with normal Launcher and classic style. Does not happen with other applications like Okular and Amarok.
Kate itself does not remember the files. You can only see them in the Launcher.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. set KDE and Kate to not remember recent documents.
2. Open a random file
3. close Kate

Actual Results:
The file appears in the Launcher under "Recently Used" and "Recent Documents".

Expected Results:
The file should not be remembered.

We only use the activities framework to notify the activities about opened urls.
If that shall not be tracked there, I would assume the framework needs to take care of that.
