Hi, there are 2 issues - which I guess are connected. The 1st issue is the objects (or text which I guess is also object) are overlapping icons around - in att picture marked as (1). The 2nd issue is icon size in internal menus - some icons are bigger (not system menu - which is correct). Again see the picture for marks (2). Expected Results: The text shouldn't cross over icons. All icons in right-click menu should be same size (as on picture 'Move to Trash', 'Preview','Assign Tag'...). System menu has always same icon size and text is not overlapping icons.

Oh I forgot to mention my OSX version: 10.10.3
I suspect a problem with KDELibs and widget styles. Which one do you use exactly ? Look in Setup/Miscs page. Didi you try also other KDE application as Kate editor, through MAcports (digiKam PKG file is generated by MacPorts). There is also the same problem. Didi you see also a problem with Buttons sizes ? For ex, go to Comments & Tags right sidebar, and look Apply button size. It's over proportioned. Under Linux or Windows, this problem do not appears... Gilles Caulier
