I just loaded Lubuntu 15.04 and Kanagram on a 10 year old Dell Inspiron laptop, 1.2 GB RAM. The window starts up and the quiz category shows in the title bar but the program doesn't run (window is blank). I can close or minimize it. Version 4:14.12.3-0ubuntu.1. I reinstalled, same problem. All other KDE and other apps run OK. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Kanagram 2. Try to run it Actual Results: No run Expected Results: Should run normally... Runs normally in Mint 17.1 64 bit, 4:4.14.2-0ubuntu1~ubuntu14.04~ppa1 on different machine
Looks like a dependency problem. Kanagram requires qtquick2 and qtquick-controls. (They seem to be named qml-module-qtquick2 and qml-module-qtquick-controls on lubuntu). Install those, and please file a bug on lubuntu's bug tracker about the dependency issue.
Created attachment 92546 [details] attachment-18187-0.html Hmmm, I can't find those packages in the Lubuntu repo, nor does my 64 bit Mint machine have them (which runs Kanagram fine). I confess to being a noob, but through a little googling I found the apt-cache depends command, which reports thus: apt-cache depends kanagram kanagram Depends: kdeedu-kvtml-data Depends: libc6 Depends: libkeduvocdocument5 Depends: libkf5configcore5 Depends: libkf5configwidgets5 Depends: libkf5coreaddons5 Depends: libkf5declarative5 Depends: libkf5i18n5 Depends: libkf5newstuff5 Depends: libkf5sonnetcore5 Depends: libkf5widgetsaddons5 Depends: libkf5xmlgui5 Depends: libphonon4qt5-4 Depends: libqt5core5a |Depends: libqt5gui5 Depends: libqt5gui5-gles Depends: libqt5qml5 |Depends: libqt5quick5 Depends: libqt5quick5-gles Depends: libqt5widgets5 Depends: libstdc++6 And I don't have any of those installed or in the repo. If you have a quick answer, OK; otherwise I won't bother you further. Yeah, the apt-cache depends kanagram is the bug. It should list qml-module-qtquick2 and qml-module-qtquick-controls but doesn't. As for installing them yourself, sudo apt-get install qml-module-qtquick2 qml-module-qtquick-controls should do the trick.

Filed a bug upstream at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdeedu/+bug/1454402
Oops, I meant downstream.
