Description Andrew M 2015-05-10 12:30:47 UTC
KFileDialog for KF5 applications works with the single click setting for files and folders. Dolphin (still KDE4) works with single click. But KFileDialog in KDE 4 applications need to double click files and folders when opening or saving.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set the Single-click to open files and folders in KF5 System Settings/Inout Devices/Mouse
2. In Kate (KF5) try to open folders in the open file dialog with a single click.
3. In Dolphin (KDE4) try to open folders with a single click.
4. In Ark (KDE4) try to open folders in the open file dialog with a single click.

Actual Results:
Dolphin and Kate will work with single click. Ark's open dialog is set to double click.

Expected Results:
KDE4 file dialogs should use the KF5 setting for single/double click

This bug is no longer causing me problems for a while now and appears that (from the votes) it only caused one other person problems. Everything is on frameworks 5 now an symptoms can no longer be reproduced.
Can/should this be closed?
