Description vhodek 2015-05-10 09:32:41 UTC
When switching windows with Breeze decorations and disabled animations title color of active / innactive windows is not not changing accordingly making minor graphics glitches.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set window decorations to Breeze and disable animations in Breeze settings dialog
2. Open several applications / windows
3. Switch between windows

Actual Results:
Sometimes, title color of active windows is not changed to dark gray and remains silver. The same happens for innactive windows. Moving mouse over close/minimize/maximize buttons will change background color of these icons only which leads to graphic glitches.

Expected Results:
Title color of active / innactive windows should changed accordingly to dark gray / silver.

Observed on platform version 4.14.6

It's easy to workaround by enabling animations again with very short animation length.

I probably provided bad platform version:

It should be this:
Platform version: 5.9.0
Qt: 5.4.1
KDE Frameworks: 5.9.0

Missing the "plasma" version (5.2.0 ? 5.3.0) ?
I could confirm the bug in the past, but I believe it is fixed with
http://quickgit.kde.org/?p=breeze.git&a=commit&h=40f6fc4666057a52e1c44b336d7c4ccf89de74c2

" Trigger update directly, on active state changed, when animations are disabled. "

Which should also have been backported to plama 5.3.0

Could you double check and close if yes ?

Thanks for reporting,

Hugo

I can confirm it's fixed in plasma 5.3.0.

It happened to me in plasma 5.2 (stock plasma for Kubuntu 15.04 as for now).
