Description grafvonbecker@gmail.com 2015-05-08 14:49:52 UTC
Rekonq is now a competitive browser for users seeking a lightweight product. But to be truly lightweight it needs to block the beacons and trackers some websites puts into its pages, as it seems to dramatically increase CPU and load-times. Ghostery is an excellent plugin I use in both Firefox and Chrome, and it will be wonderful to see it in Rekonq too. It will be my definitely option to adopt Rekonq as my primary browser. I think most users will do the same.

Reproducible: Always

Development on Rekonq ceased four years ago, and it has been unmaintained since then. KDE recommends using Falkon instead.
