Description stason.s1.777 2015-05-05 17:17:11 UTC
Downloaded ISO files are shown like plaintext in all file managers.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download any ISO image file
2. Open folder with image in any File Manager (Dolphin or Krusader)

Actual Results:
It shown like plain/text instead of ISO.

Expected Results:
It shown like ISO.

File name pattern is *.iso. All other ISO files copied from another drive, or for example downloaded via Firefox or Chrome is shown like "Raw cd image". But if I download it via Ktorrent - it is always "Plain text document". If I delete ".iso" extension - still text. Add ".png" - image. Remove ".png" and add ".iso" - text again. MD5 is ok and I can succesfully burn it with dd. If I make "file *.iso" command, everything looks allright - "ISO 9660 CD-ROM filesystem data", but if I try to open it in Ark for example - it is impossible. There is option to show files of all supported types. The same iso with same md5, downloaded with Chrome is shown there. And downloaded with Ktorrent - no. May be, there some byte in beginning of the file or something else?

I've just tested on an ISO of KDE Neon I recently downloaded and the type shows as "raw CD image" and is able to be mounted correctly and written to a USB.

Can you please confirm if this is still an issue, thanks.
