As I use clipboard a lot I have increased the klipper history list to 20, like I did in KDE4. Compared to KDE4 I see two usability issues * the klipper menu is not resized to accomodate the increased number of entries. I have been unable to find a way to resize the menu. * when the menu pops up, the scroll list doesn't start at the top of the list, but somewhere in the middle. To see the active entry, I have to scroll up manually.
The fixed popup size is a conscious design decision and applies to all applets within the system tray, otherwise Bug 332512 applies. There seems to be an issue in QtQuick with the StrictlyEnforceRange highlight policy causing the list to quickly scroll to the bottom when entering the list from the bottom corner, I will look at this again; I thought it was needed for keyboard navigation but iirc widget explorer does not use it, so it seems fine without.

What may I ask was the rationale behind that? IMHO it seems rather a ludicrous decision, surely the size should be determined by the user. I also frequently need to see 10-16 Clipboard entries, having to constantly scroll is a major disadvantage, and a serious regression from the 4.x version of klipper.
@Paul, you may want to try the kilpper application or the plasmoid and disable/hide the systray icon. The only downside is that you don't get a global shortcut like the systray has to open klipper over the panel, only a shortcut to open it in the mouse position.
(In reply to Ricardo J. Barberis from comment #3) > @Paul, you may want to try the kilpper application ... I have been using that for some time now, (rather than the new clipboard plasmoid). Not only due to this and https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=343519 but also to the fact that "Ignore Images" is not working as intended. (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=348932 and https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=349509 ) Nonetheless, thanks for the pointer. :)
Fixed popup size is intentional, though we have made it taller within the past year or so. The other issue was fixed a long time ago. :)
