Description dSP 2015-05-04 09:43:05 UTC
0dbfs is a keyword in the header section of Csound Orchestra file.
it is recognised as number (yellow with default colours) and normal text.

1) I don't find where to edit this for me.
2) it probably should be changed for everybody.

is this the richt place to mention this? I am not familiar with reporting bugs but have been using KDE for some years and plan to fix more of what I see broken, so directions howto give better feedback are welcome.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. save a textfile with ".orc" extension
2. make sure Mode is "other->Csound Orchestra"
3. type 0dbfs = 1
4. compare with sr = 48000 etc

Actual Results:
0dbfs not a keyword

Expected Results:
0dbfs is keyword

The sources for the highlighting definition files are in ktexteditor.git src/syntax/data
Comment 2 Christoph Cullmann 2015-06-08 20:23:21 UTC
And the kate manual includes a large section about writing hl files ;=)
Comment 3 Christoph Cullmann 2016-01-31 16:50:51 UTC
If you still want that, please take a look at

https://docs.kde.org/stable5/en/applications/katepart/highlight.html

If you provide some file as patch on https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/ we can
have that, otherwise this won't happen.

Thanks I currently don't use Kate and Csound. I will check when I find time.
