Description Tim Goodwin 2015-04-30 11:39:39 UTC
Standard keyboard shortcuts such as Ctrl+A etc. do not work. 'Ambiguous shortcut detected'. You are asked to resolve this issue by going to settings/keyboard shortcuts. The shortcuts are correctly established in the settings. This problem occurs without split views being selected, in the standard editor. Can't change it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Kate.
2.Type some text.
3.Press Ctrl+A to select all.

Actual Results:
'Ambiguous shortcut detected'.

Expected Results:
Text should be selected.

Also fails with other standard shortcuts: Ctrl+X, Ctrl+C etc.

As a temporary workaround you may edit or remove the [Shortcuts] section in ~/.config/kdeglobals
Comment 3 Tim Goodwin 2015-05-07 11:51:07 UTC
Doing that just makes all the keyboard shortcuts not work.
