It started after upgrading to 5.x KDE. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open any document long enough to scroll. 2. Scroll to the center of document. 3. Change something there and save it. 4. Start scrolling either with mouse wheel or touchpad. Actual Results: Scroll position reset and user thrown to start or end of document, depending on scroll direction. Expected Results: Scroll position saved. AFAIU KDevelop uses some parts of Kate and it's _not_ affected.
It happens only after using an easystroke gesture, not on save.
It's now affects KDevelop and Konsole too.
