after booting sddm comes up only showing black background and white dialog telling about crash.

if I jump to console (ctrl-alt-f2) and do service restart sddm, it loads up nicely and I can login normally.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. boot
2. wait
3. observe

Actual Results:  
crash

Expected Results:  
show the GUI and let me login

Application: sddm-greeter (sddm-greeter), signal: Segmentation fault

Not sure if I'm getting the same crash:

I get dumped to a console and have to run startx to get a GUI.

Graphics card is a NVIDIA Corporation G96 [GeForce 9400 GT]. I tried switching from the Nouveau drivers to the proprietary ones, but still got the crash.
