When I create a title and give it a typewriter animation effect (from within the title editor), then import it into the timeline, Kdenlive crashes. I've repeated this and got it to work intermittently, but then it crashes when I scrub through the title in the timeline, or when I left-click with the mouse to move the timeline cursor over the title in the timeline. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a title with "typewriter" animation 2. Place title from project tree into timeline (crashes intermittently) 3. Play project (will crash when timeline cursor reaches title), OR scrub across title, OR place timeline cursor over title. Actual Results: Program crashes. Expected Results: Natural interface behavior when working with titles in timeline, with or without typewriter effect. Running Kubuntu 15.04 beta 2 x64. Kdenlive installed via ppa:sunab/kdenlive-svn. Issue discovered on 2015.04.21.

Thanks, I found the problem, but it is inside MLT - I have a patch ready. So I will add a check in Kdenlive to disable the typewriter effect unless the patched version of MLT is detected.

As explained, I now disabled typewriter effect unless MLT has the new kdenlivetitle module version
Which version of MLT is required ? I have version 0.9.9, and no typewriter effect. Is that normal ?
