When i hover over icon-taskmanager I get some weird graphical corruption on top left corner of the windows. Seems to happen all the time. And seems it came with latest update in Archlinux. After clicking on a window that has the corruption they disappear on the selected window. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Move mouse over icon-onlytaskmanger 2. Let the preview of windows come up (bit choppy on my computer) 3. Behold squares Actual Results: squares on windows and somewhat choppy animation on preview Expected Results: no squares and smooth animation? nVidia 349.16 Getting some errors spammed in journal aswell (not sure if related) kwin_x11[592]: QXcbConnection: XCB error: 3 (BadWindow), sequence: 18999, resource id: 90177681, major code: 20 (GetProperty), minor code: 0 kwin_x11[592]: QXcbConnection: XCB error: 9 (BadDrawable), sequence: 21203, resource id: 0, major code: 14 (GetGeometry), minor code: 0 kwin_x11[592]: QXcbConnection: XCB error: 9 (BadDrawable), sequence: 913, resource id: 0, major code: 14 (GetGeometry), minor code: 0 kwin_x11[592]: QXcbConnection: XCB error: 3 (BadWindow), sequence: 65268, resource id: 44040234, major code: 15 (QueryTree), minor code: 0

Please attach the output of "qdbus org.kde.KWin /KWin supportInformation" Choppyness is hopefully covered by https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/123035/ It's caused by the close button.

Hm that conversation says that the fix should be in 5.2.2 but i'm having 5.2.2 so maybe its not related or did the fix not come in? Should I open a bug about this?
Depends - I'm not exactly familiar w/ taskbars - does it invoke the "present windows" effect (exposé) or the "higlight windows" effect (fade out all other windows) in this case? (I assumed the former, but the screenshot actually supports neither idea...)

None, This is with icon-taskmanager where you get a small preview of the windows when you hover over their icon. Let me get a more clear picture below =)
Created attachment 92154 [details] Icon-only taskmanager When i hovered over the icon-only taskmanager on top and it showed the preview this is when the blue/black squares showed up. Also when moving mouse between icons and preview switches its quite slow in painting. First i see a shadow creating then it flickers away to move/get bigger to account for other previews. Moving mouse back and forth flickers it mostly and sometimes the previews get black when having a youtube video open in chromeium for example.
This was fixed in some update may it be kwin or nvidia.
