Dear Konsole developers: Today I tried the "background mode" of Konsole 3.0.1. in Kubuntu 15.04 beta 2 (with KF5.9 and Plasma 5): I executed $ konsole --help| grep background-mode QCoreApplication::arguments: Please instantiate the QApplication object first --background-mode Start Konsole in the background and bring to the front when Ctrl+Shift+F12 (by default) is pressed $ konsole --background-mode [...] then I pressed Ctrl+Shift+F12 but nothing happened. I went to System Settings > Global Keyboard Shortcuts but in "KDE component" I didn't find "Konsole"; that was strange, because it was there in KDE Plasma 4, and so people were able to choose another keyboard shortcut. If this is not a Konsole bug nor a Plasma bug, but a Kubuntu bug -> please tell me, and I'll report a Kubuntu bug. Thanks for Konsole! Reproducible: Always
