Description Thiago Jung Bauermann 2015-04-16 22:34:25 UTC
Application: kontact (4.14.2)
KDE Platform Version: 4.14.2
Qt Version: 4.8.6
Operating System: Linux 3.13.0-36-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
These are more or less the steps I did. I haven't tried again yet to see whether it would happen one other time:

1. I created a search folder where the search is confined to a few selected folders.
2. Read some messages in the search folder.
3. Right-clicked on the search folder and changed the folders which were searched
4. Read some more messages in the search folder.
5. Right-clicked on the searc folder to delete it.
6. Crash!

The messages it found weren't at all the ones I was expecting (it was a search trying to find unread, important or todo messages). But that is probably an unrelated bug.

Crash information.

I was unable to submit this bug via the crash wizard. There was some error about authentication at the end (even though the authentication went fine when it searched for duplicate bug reports). Here is the report it generated.

Confirmed. Most recent behaviour was what the screenshot at bug 349789 shows, so merging with that one.
Fix coming up.
