Description Kai Uwe Broulik 2015-04-01 10:15:20 UTC
On a fresh install of KMail 4.14 when pressing the Delete key on my keyboard to trash an email I get an "ambiguous shortcut" warning and no action is taken. In the shortcuts dialog I noticed that both "Move Email to Trash" and "Delete Email" are mapped to the Delete key at the same time.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select an Email
2. Press Delete
3.

Actual Results:
A dialog telling me that the shortcut is ambiguous and no action will be taken place

Expected Results:
The email is moved to the trash

By default Delete should just trash, Ctrl+Delete really delete, like in a file manager.

Closing as duplicate of 346984 even though this report was created earlier, the other report confirms the issue to still be present with KF5-based kontact, which I thought could be good information to keep open.
