Description Dennis Schridde 2015-03-28 10:03:23 UTC
In my roster I have an inaccessible contact, grouped with an accessible contact. When I expand the group, it is always displayed as offline, and right-clicking does not bring up any menu (as it happens when clicking the accessible contact). It has the same name and JID as the accessible contact, but does not show the name of an account. I cannot open a chat for it, either.

After ungrouping the two, the inaccessible contact vanished entirely and so far (I did not yet restart Telepathy) did not return.

Reproducible: Always

Thanks for the report

Are you able to reproduce that state? Or did it happen randomly on its own?
Comment 2 Dennis Schridde 2015-08-01 09:52:58 UTC
Randomly. But you can also produce items that behave exactly the same by deactivating accounts.

Dear user, unfortunately Telepathy is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
