Description Anders Lund 2015-03-27 11:28:02 UTC
When removing an instance of a repeated event on android, it creates a event with STATUS:CANCELLED in the ical event. On android (and google calendar and maybe other places?) this event kinda evens out the other one, so in android neither the original (repeated) or the CANCELLED event is displayed. In korganizer both shows.
FWIW, owncloud also shows both events.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have a calDAV calendar, for example on owncloud, and create a resource for it in your android device and in korganizer.
2. Create a repeated event.
3. In android, delete a single instance of the event (tap event to edit, tap the trashcan, select this instance only, confirm).

Actual Results:
In android: The instance of the repeated event is removed from the view.
In korganizer (and owncloud web interface): Both the repeated event and the one supposed to cancel it is displayed.

Expected Results:
In android: functions well.
In Korganizer (and owncloud): The cancelling event should be respected, so that neither shows.

Hey,

I think this should be fixed in 4.14.2 or around, where the resource started supporting multiple events per iCal item. Which KDE version are you using?

Cheers,
Grégory

I'm assuming this is fixed, but feel free to reopen if you have the same issue with a more recent release.
