Description mr.krikler 2015-03-26 16:14:08 UTC
Application: kwin (4.11.16)
KDE Platform Version: 4.14.6
Qt Version: 4.8.6
Operating System: Linux 3.18.9-100.fc20.x86_64 x86_64
Distribution: "Fedora release 20 (Heisenbug)"

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed: Using xrandr to change screen resolutions. kwin seemed to restart fine though and if it weren't for this bug report opening it might have gone un-noticed. Perhaps this is then a bug in the bug reporter?

-- Backtrace:
Application: KWin (kwin), signal: Segmentation fault
Using host libthread_db library "/lib64/libthread_db.so.1".

That's a driver bug - kwin is not supposed to crash on screen resizes (but it auto-restarts on crashes, because no running WM is really a nasty condition ;-)

Interesting though, that the particular crash is triggered by a randr event. Can you please attach the output of

   qdbus org.kde.KWin /KWin supportInformation
