Description philip.obergfell 2015-03-23 12:34:17 UTC
There are logs stored in ~/.local/share/TpLogger, the log-viewer finds contacts and dates but not the content of logs.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open log-viewer
2. choose contact and date

Actual Results:
log-viewer displays "There are no logs for this day"

Expected Results:
log-viewer should display logs

Maybe there's a problem with UTF-8 and ISO 8859-1, because everything is present in the log files, even though the umlauts are displayed wrong when viewing with kwrite - for example: ä is displayed as ö

Thanks for the report

Just to confirm, this is indeed version 0.8 and running on FreeBSD?

Yes, it is the actual package in the FreeBSD 10.1-RELEASE-p6 repository.
Comment 3 Martin Klapetek 2015-03-23 13:49:27 UTC
Is there any chance this could be tested with 0.9 version? 0.8 is long time unsupported now...
Comment 4 philip.obergfell 2015-03-23 13:52:17 UTC
Ok, i will check that & contact the package maintainer.
Comment 5 Martin Klapetek 2015-03-23 13:55:07 UTC
Ok, I'll close this for now so that we don't have stale bugs here.

If you can still reproduce with 0.9 or even better with 15.04 (about to be released), please reopen this bug. Otherwise there certainly won't be a fix for 0.8, sorry.
Comment 6 philip.obergfell 2015-04-27 10:51:42 UTC
Now tested with Version 0.9.0, same result as in 0.8.0
