I had setup a simple filter based on the "to" and "cc" fields that were supposed to move the incoming emails from the inbox to another folder, all on IMAP. The emails then become greyed out, inaccessible and lost forever. Steps to reproduce: 1. Install Kubuntu 15.04 and perform all the system updates. By the end you should have version 4.14.6 of KMail. 2. Setup an IMAP account with a filter that moves the email from the Inbox to another folder. 3. Wait for new emails that match the filter to arrive OR if you have some already, try running the filter manually 4. Watch as your emails become greyed out and lost Additional information: Kubuntu 15.04 with all the updates as of reporting date. Stable ethernet connection being used. Laptop model: Dell Latitude E7440.
Grayed out emails have the imap T flag set. Kmail has issues handling these. For me they remain and I have to delete from disk manually. But I have experienced lost emails as well.
