When attempting to connect to a Windows 7 or a Windows 2008 R2 Server (other destinations have not been tested by me), I will get a blue screen as described in bug 339490. This report is not a duplicate of that bug, however, as this is not a connection issue. 

If I switch to my Windows VM, the case will be that the OS is prompting me for a password change, or to kick another user off to allow me to log in.

I THINK this probably has something to do with NTLM.

This is a domain environment.

This has been an issue for several versions, I do not remember a time when this was working.

I've tested this on a Windows 10 machine and I cannot replicate the issue.

Can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug report can be marked as resolved. I've set the bug status to "needsinfo" pending your response, please change back to "reported" or "resolved" when you respond, thanks.
