Currently, tags are stored in the akonadi database only. For some resources, like local folders, I would like to see the tags stored also in the xattr of the file, similar to what baloo does with regular files. In my opinion, if akonadi is only a cache, then deleting the database should yield as few data loss as possible. Reproducible: Always
The Tag resource is gone, but tags are now fully supported by Akonadi internally so they could be written back by resources.
