Description markus 2015-03-13 14:01:04 UTC
I try to get Buttons to mark a mail to Spam or No-Spam (Ham).
I put them into the Toolbar (kmmainwin) an it works fine - until i do a restart of kmail.
After a restart the Buttons ar not shown - but there are still in the kmmainwin-Toolbar.

It happend every time.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Put the Buttons in the Toolbar (kmmainwin) - it works
2. Restart kmail
3. No Buttons shown, but still in list.
4. Put them out of the list, restart, put them again in the list .... see step 2

Actual Results:
The Buttons are in the List, but not in the Toolbar

How did you add them ?
Could you explain each step please ?
Comment 2 markus 2015-03-13 15:46:33 UTC
yes sure
1) Right click on the Toolbar (top Toolbar, with New Message Icon, Print ...)
2) Configure Toolbars
3) That show the Window "Configure Toolbars - Kontact"
On the List are the different Toolbars, i chose Main Toolbar <kmmainwin>
Then i put the "Available actions" from the left side to the right side "Current actions".

Hope it's helpfully

This bug has never been confirmed for a KDE PIM version that is based on KDE Frameworks (5.x). Those versions differ significantly from the old 4.x series. Therefore, I plan to close it in around two or three months. In the meantime, it is set to WAITINGFORINFO to give reporters the oportunity to check if it is still valid. As soon as someone confirms it for a recent version (at least 5.1, ideally even more recent), I'll gladly reopen it.

Please understand that we lack the manpower to triage bugs reported for versions almost two years beyond their end of life.

Still exists in KMail 5.5.2, openSUSE RPMs, openSUSE Leap 42.3

I also tried different methods to add them again. Filter configuration and advanced tab as well as configure toolbars. And I tried it multiple times.

The buttons are shown in Configure Toolbars -> kmmainwin but not on the toolbar itself. The items added to this toolbar were named "Filter Classify as Spam" and "Filter Classify as NOT spam".

In the context popup menu of a message I can use Apply Filter -> Classify as (NOT) spam and it works as expected.
