Problem is not fixed... I'm running plasma 5.2.1 and this bug is still affecting kubuntu 15.04... Here are the details: KDEInit could not launch '': Could not open library '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libkdeinit5_'. Cannot load library /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libkdeinit5_: (/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libkdeinit5_.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libkdeinit5_.so looks like a packaging error. This file name looks incorrect. You can try to report it downstream...

I can now confirm that this bug is also affecting a fresh kubuntu 15.04 beta1 install... So the status should be changed back to OPEN / NOT RESOLVED

Same problem for me KDEInit could not launch '': Could not open library '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libkdeinit5_'. Cannot load library /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libkdeinit5_: (/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libkdeinit5_.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory) It happens in the installer for the beta and also in the most updated installed version as of today
