Description Edward 2015-03-03 00:05:18 UTC
My KDE version is 4.14.4. I am unable to determine the version of the "Printers" application. There are several problems here. I am not entirely sure that this is "print-manager". If this belongs somewhere else, please move it. This is the application labeled "Printers" in the KickOff menu. When I attempt to remove a printer, the dialog asking for my password appears behind the window. I can move the window out of the way, but I cannot enter anything in the password field because the active window grabs the focus away from it immediately. If I close the "Printers" window, the dialog remains and I can enter my password, but then nothing happens. Afterward, when I choose "Printers" again from the KickOff menu, the application does not start, and I must log out and log back in order to access it again.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Choose "Printers" from KickOff menu.
2. Select a printer
3. Choose "remove printer"
4. Close "Printers" window
5. Enter and submit password or close dialog
6. Choose "Printers" from "KickOff" menu.

Actual Results:
When I attempt to remove a printer, the dialog asking for my password appears behind the window. I can move the window out of the way, but I cannot enter anything in the password field because the active window grabs the focus away from it immediately. If I close the "Printers" window, the dialog remains and I can enter my password, but then nothing happens. Afterward, when I choose "Printers" again from the KickOff menu, the application does not start, and I must log out and log back in order to access it again.

Expected Results:
The password dialog should appear in front of the active window and allow me to submit my password, then remove the printer.
